The most beautiful trail
on the Coast

This hike is generally done starting from Bomerano (a hamlet of Agerola at approx. 650 m a.s.l.) and ending at Nocelle via the famous "Path of the Gods". In addition to this option, we want to propose an alternative route that is not only very scenic but also offers historical and cultural insights.

We start from Vettica Maggiore (located along the coast between Amalfi and Positano) and via a comfortable stairway, in just over half an hour we reach the religious complex of "Santa Maria a Castro" (in an enchanting position at about 400 m a.s.l.), where you can visit the 11th-century church and the adjacent Dominican convent dating back to the 16th century.

You will also have the opportunity to pay special attention to the typical crops and traditions of our land, enjoying a pleasant stop at a typical Amalfi Coast vineyard.

After the stop, in about 30 minutes we reach the famous Path of the Gods at 1.7 km from its official start, at its most panoramic stretch, heading from east to west, crossing Mediterranean scrub, holm oak forests and wilder areas with caves and deep inlets, suspended between sky and sea in a setting unique in the world!

After about 2 hours of walking, you reach Nocelle, a small village of just 300 inhabitants at about 420 m above sea level, from where you can reach Positano by taxi, bus, or upon request, with another hour on foot.
